ground cinnamon
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, heat the milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt over medium-low heat. Whisking frequently until warm.
Add in the chocolate chips and whisk continuously until they are fully melted.
Whisk in the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon until fully combined. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
You can use milk chocolate, semi-sweet, or dark chocolate chips
Substitute the heavy cream for additional milk if needed
Store leftovers in the refrigerator and reheat them on the stove or in the microwave
